Rewind helps people turn personal memories into cinematic movies. Memories are personal, so uploaded media and generated stories are treated as private user content unless you choose to share them.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you use Rewind:

How We Use Information

We use information to:

AI Processing

Rewind may process text memories, captions, descriptions, uploaded media, and media-derived metadata with AI services to create story plans, narration, captions, and rendered movies. We aim to send only what is needed to provide the requested feature.

Current planned service providers may include OpenAI or AWS Bedrock for story generation, ElevenLabs for premium narration, Firebase for authentication and messaging, and AWS for storage, queueing, rendering, and infrastructure.

Storage and Sharing

Uploaded and generated media may be stored in AWS S3 and served through signed URLs or CloudFront. Public share links are created only when you request sharing. Anyone with a public share link may view the hosted preview until the link is removed, disabled, or expires.

Data Deletion and Export

You can request account deletion and data export from the app. Deletion is designed to remove user projects, media records, generated videos, shared spaces owned by the user where applicable, device tokens, and account metadata after any applicable operational or legal retention period.

Children

Rewind is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we collected information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.
